About this product

This Irwin Masonry Drill Bit measures 8mm in diameter and 200mm in overall length, suited to drilling through thick walls and multiple layers of masonry. It is designed for fast, efficient drilling in brickwork, concrete and breeze block, particularly when used with cordless drills, and is said to drill up to 60% faster than competitive alternatives. A single flute design aids dust removal for increased drilling speed, while the pressed diamond-ground carbide tip allows aggressive cutting action and offers 20% longer life than previous Irwin masonry bits. The body is made from chrome vanadium with high carbon content, allowing greater hardening for a stronger bit with maximum rupture strength.
