About this product
This pack of three Faithfull Aluminium Oxide Flap Discs measures 115 x 22mm with a 40 grit rating, suited to rough grinding and finishing of mild steel, carbon steel and alloys. The coarse grit allows rapid material removal, making the discs useful for weld removal, surface preparation and initial profiling work with an angle grinder. Each disc has 72 flaps for fast stock removal with reduced risk of gouging or discolouration. The self-sharpening flaps and layered construction give a longer working life than fibre discs, running cooler and quieter with less vibration. The slightly conical shape suits grinding at 15-25 degree angles on contoured surfaces, and the lightweight design aims to reduce operator fatigue while improving control and finish consistency.
