About this product
The Makita HP1631K is a 110V percussion drill suited to drilling and fastening across wood, metal and masonry. It runs on a 710W motor with a cylinder-shaped motor housing and aluminium gear housing cover, giving 0-3,200rpm and an impact rate of 0-48,000 blows per minute, with a percussion mode for concrete and brick work.
Control is via a variable speed trigger with forward/reverse rotation, plus a keyless chuck (1.5-13mm capacity) and a slim, rubber-gripped frame for comfortable handling. The drill is double insulated.
Maximum drilling diameters are 30mm in wood, 16mm in masonry and 13mm in steel. It weighs around 1.9-2.0kg and comes with a side handle and carry case.
