About this product
The Makita HP1640 is a 680W percussion drill (110V) suitable for drilling and impact drilling in wood, metal and masonry. It has a 13mm keyed chuck, variable speed trigger and forward/reverse rotation with equal speed and torque in both directions, giving good control across a range of materials and tasks.
It features a rubberised soft grip handle for comfort during extended use, and is double insulated for safety. No-load speed runs 0-2,800/min with an impact rate of 0-44,800/min. Maximum drilling diameters are 30mm in wood, 16mm in concrete and 13mm in steel. Weight is 2kg without cable.
Supplied with a side handle, depth gauge/stop and 13mm chuck key.
