About this product
This double-sided diamond sharpening stone from Faithfull is designed for maintaining precision cutting tools and blades. The metal stone is electroplated with monocrystalline diamond, giving a coarse face and a fine face, so both edge restoration and fine honing can be done with one stone. Unlike traditional abrasive stones, the diamond surface stays flat and won't groove, helping produce consistent, straight edges on tools such as chisels and plane irons. It suits carbon steel, HSS and tungsten carbide tools, and can also be used to abrade glass, ceramic tiles and porcelain. It can be used dry or with water as a lubricant, for sharpening knives, scissors, chisels, plane blades, cutting blades and TCT router bits. The kit includes an adjustable docking station with non-slip rubber pads for a secure fixing, plus a storage wallet for protection and transport.
