The Marshalltown MXS1 is an 11 x 4½in plasterer's finishing trowel suited to general plastering and detailed finishing work. Its mid-size dimensions offer a balance between manoeuvrability and coverage, making it suitable for both experienced plasterers and those still developing their technique.
The trowel features a lightweight aluminium alloy mounting that remains as strong as steel, helping to reduce arm fatigue during extended use. The flexible blade is made from high-grade spring steel that has been tempered, ground and polished for a smooth finish, and is fixed to the mounting with ten hard steel rivets for secure retention.
The plasterer's shaped wooden handle has a curved, ergonomic design and is held firmly in place by a nut and washer assembly for comfortable, controlled use.
