About this product
These Knipex 97 53 18 Twistor16 pliers are self-adjusting crimping pliers for wire end ferrules, suited to electricians and contractors working on control panels and industrial wiring. The square crimp profile covers a capacity range of 0.14 to 16 mm² (AWG 26-6), automatically adjusting to the wire size rather than requiring manual setting, which helps avoid crimping errors. The crimp head rotates 360° with 8 locking positions, allowing crimps from various working angles, and accepts extra-long ferrules from either side. Twin wire ferrules up to 2 x 6 mm² can also be crimped. An integral, self-releasing lock gives consistent results, while a toggle lever mechanism reduces the hand force needed. Made from chrome vanadium electric steel. Overall length is 200mm, weighing 478g, supplied loose.
