This Starrett Fastcut Bi-Metal Holesaw is a 22mm hole saw designed for tradespeople needing reliable, clean cuts across wood, plastics and metals. Its bi-metal construction uses high-speed steel teeth electron beam welded to an alloy steel body, giving durability and extended tool life even in demanding use.
The variable pitch tooth design (5.5 TPI/25mm) reduces vibration and improves heat and wear resistance for a smoother, faster cut compared to constant pitch saws. It is particularly suited to cutting stainless and mild steel sheet, and can cut tubes with a wall thickness of up to 3mm. Cutting depth is 41mm, and it fits standard arbors.
