Its bi-metal construction uses high-speed steel teeth electron beam welded to an alloy steel body, giving durability and extended tool life even in demanding applications.
The variable pitch tooth design (5.5 TPI/25mm) reduces vibration and offers a smoother, faster cut than earlier constant pitch saws, with improved heat and wear resistance. It is particularly suited to cutting stainless and mild steel sheet, and tubes with wall thickness up to 3mm. Cutting depth is 41mm, and it fits standard arbors.
