This Starrett Fastcut Bi-Metal Holesaw is designed for tradespeople who need reliable hole cutting in wood, plastics and metals. Its bi-metal construction uses high-speed steel teeth electron beam welded to an alloy steel body, giving durability in demanding applications, and it fits standard arbors.
The 5.5 TPI/25mm variable pitch tooth design reduces vibration and gives a smoother, faster cut than the previous constant pitch saw, with improved tooth material for better heat and wear resistance and longer life. It is particularly suited to cutting stainless and mild steel sheet, and can cut tubes with a wall thickness of up to 3mm. Cutting depth is 41mm.
