The Flex SMS 190 18.0-EC is an 18v cordless sliding mitre saw with a 190mm blade, aimed at carpenters and joiners doing timber frame construction, drywall substructures, laminate or parquet flooring, and wood panelling or architrave work. Sold as a bare unit with no battery or charger.
A brushless motor gives improved efficiency and longer service life, backed by an electronic management system that protects components. An integrated laser guide to the left of the blade helps with accurate marking, and a quick-action clamp secures the workpiece. The handle is ergonomic with a switch lock, suiting both left- and right-handed users.
Other features include a 36mm vacuum flange for a cleaner work area, a motor brake that stops the blade within 3 seconds, and 0-48° swivel and incline ranges in both directions. Weight is 12.9kg without battery.
