About this product
The Makita KP0800 is a 110v professional planer suited to tasks such as planing doors, preparing timber for joinery and cutting rebates for panels. Powered by a 620W motor with a no-load speed of 17,000rpm, it offers a planing width of 82mm, planing depth of up to 2.0mm and a maximum rebate depth of 9.0mm.
A fine depth adjustment knob with click stops allows precise control, while the shaped handle with rubberised grip aids comfortable handling and manoeuvrability. The planer is double insulated for safety and can be connected to a vacuum cleaner or dust extraction unit.
It is supplied with a socket wrench and blade gauge assembly; case-based versions (KP0800K, KP0800KL) include a carry case.
