About this product
The Makita KP0800 is a 240V corded planer suited to door hanging, timber framing and general carpentry, whether on site or in the workshop. Its high-speed 620W motor gives fast material removal, with an 82mm planing width and 2.0mm planing depth, plus a maximum rebate depth of 9.0mm.
A fine depth adjustment knob with click stops allows precise control, while the shaped handle and rubberised soft grip aid handling and reduce fatigue. The tool is double insulated for safety and can be connected to a vacuum cleaner or dust extraction unit.
It runs at 17,000rpm no-load speed and weighs around 2.5–2.8kg depending on source. Supplied with a socket wrench and blade gauge assembly.
