About this product

The Makita 9404 is a 110V belt sander aimed at trade use, taking a 100x610mm belt for a good balance of coverage and control. Electronic variable speed control adjusts belt speed between 210 and 440 metres per minute, allowing the speed to be matched to the material and task. The 1,010W motor maintains constant speed under load, and a flat top allows inverted use.

A flush sanding design lets the tool work close to walls and into corners, with an auto-tracking belt system to keep the belt aligned. It is double insulated, weighs around 4.7-4.8kg, and has a noise sound pressure of 85dB(A). Supplied with an abrasive belt, cork/carbon pad and dust bag.
