ForgeFix ForgeFast Exterior Elite 2000 Pozi Compatible Wood Screw 4 x 50mm Box 300 FFE450ST

ForgeFast Exterior Elite 2000 wood screws, sized 4 x 50mm and supplied in a box of 300, are designed for exterior timber construction such as cladding, decking and general joinery. They use the Elementech 2000 Coating System, giving corrosion resistance rated to a 2,000 hour salt spray test and said to last up to 30 times longer than a standard zinc coating, with an environmentally friendly Non-Cr, Cr3+ zinc surface.

The screws have a Pozi-compatible countersunk head with 6 angled lobes for improved countersinking, and an anti-friction thread that helps prevent jacking and rotation of adjoining timbers while reducing splitting risk. A double cutting point and serrated cutting thread allow installation without pre-drilling, giving a firmer fix with reduced drive torque and improved pull-out. The screws are CE approved for load-bearing timber construction.
