About this product
ForgeFast Exterior Elite 2000 wood screws, size 5 x 50mm, supplied in boxes of 180. The larger diameter suits exterior applications needing extra holding power, such as heavier timber joinery, thick cladding and decking boards.
The Elementech 2000 coating gives corrosion resistance rated to 2,000 hours of salt spray testing, suited to coastal and all-weather use, and lasts up to 30 times longer than standard zinc coatings. The Pozi-compatible countersunk head and advanced thread allow installation without pre-drilling.
A double cutting point reduces splitting and drive time, while the serrated cutting thread gives a firmer fix with reduced drive torque and improved pull-out. Anti-friction thread technology prevents jacking and rotation of adjoining timbers. CE approved for load-bearing timber construction.
