ForgeFast Exterior Elite 2000 Pozi Compatible Wood Screws, size 5 x 80mm, supplied in boxes of 110. The larger diameter and length suit demanding exterior work such as heavy-duty decking, thick cladding and substantial timber fixings.
The Elementech 2000 Coating System gives increased corrosion resistance, rated to 2,000 hours of salt spray testing, suiting coastal and all-weather use. The coating uses a Non-Cr, Cr3+ zinc surface and is said to last up to 30 times longer than standard zinc coatings.
A double cutting point reduces splitting and drive time, while the serrated cutting thread gives a firmer fix with improved pull-out. Anti-friction thread technology prevents jacking of adjoining timbers, and angled lobes improve countersinking. No pre-drilling is required, and the screws are CE approved for load-bearing timber construction.
