ForgeFix ForgeFast Exterior Elite 2000 Pozi Compatible Wood Screw 4 x 70mm Box 170 FFE470ST

The ForgeFast Exterior Elite 2000 Pozi Compatible Wood Screw in 4 x 70mm dimensions is supplied in a pack of 170, making it an excellent choice for exterior applications requiring additional length and penetration depth. This size is particularly well-suited for securing thicker timber components, fixing fascia boards, and installing heavier decking or cladding where enhanced holding power through deeper penetration is essential. Featuring the Elementech 2000 Coating System, this screw delivers exceptional corrosion resistance with a 2,000 hour salt spray test rating, ensuring elite performance in coastal construction environments and all weather conditions. The advanced thread technology and Pozi recess enable faster, easier installation with no pre-drilling required, whilst the double cutting point reduces splitting and drive time, even capable of penetrating 0.8mm steel. The serrated cutting thread provides a firmer fix with reduced drive torque and improved pull-out performance. Anti-friction thread technology prevents jacking and rotation of adjoining timbers whilst reducing splitting risk. The reinforced countersunk neck delivers improved holding power, whilst 6 angled lobes ensure superior countersinking for a professional flush finish.
