This Faithfull HSS Straight Flute Tap Set is a general-purpose set for cutting M12 x 1.75 metric threads in blind or through-holes across most ferrous and non-ferrous materials, including heavy engineering, construction and automotive applications. The three-piece set comprises taper, second and bottom taps, allowing threads to be cut progressively for accuracy.
Made from high-speed steel with a bright finish, the taps are suited to machine cutting and conform to ISO529 for thread accuracy. The straight flute design aids efficient chip removal and smooth cutting. A drill size of 10.5mm is recommended for use with this set.
