About this product
This Dormer combination drill and tap combines a core-hole drill with a spiral flute tap, allowing a hole to be drilled and threaded in a single pass. This saves time when working on site with a hand-held power tool, as there is no need to change tools or use a separate tap wrench, and the tool can be used in reversible, variable speed power tools.
Made from High Speed Steel to ISO standards, it is suitable for use on most materials, including steel and cast steel. The steam tempered surface helps retain lubricant for smoother cutting. This M8 size has a cylindrical shank with a square drive, a connection diameter of 8mm, a thread diameter of 6.8mm, a threading length of 21mm and two flutes, cutting in the right-hand direction for through holes.
