About this product
This 39 piece set from Faithfull is designed for cutting and cleaning threads in mild steel, aluminium and brass, suiting general engineering, maintenance and fabrication work. It's made from C45 carbon steel and covers the most commonly used European metric thread sizes from M3 to M12, with 16 matching taps and dies. The kit includes a tap wrench (M3-12), a 25mm die stock holder, a screwdriver and a screwpitch gauge for identifying threads before work begins. It also contains a tap and die in 1/8 inch NPT for pipe threading applications, making it useful for plumbers as well as metalworkers.
