About this product
The Makita DGA517 is an 18V LXT cordless brushless angle grinder with a 125mm disc capacity, designed for control and safety during grinding and cutting tasks. It has a paddle switch, variable speed control dial and speeds up to 8,500rpm, suiting accessories such as polishing pads, strip discs and flap discs.
Safety features include Automatic Torque Drive Technology, which adjusts speed and torque to load conditions, and Active Feedback Sensing Technology, which cuts power if an accessory snags. It also has an anti-restart function, electric brake and an electronic current limiter.
The body has a slimline design with a forward-angled, soft-grip handle and wire mesh intake covers to filter debris. Supplied as a bare unit with lock nut spanner, side handle and grinding disc, but without battery, charger or case.
