About this product
The Makita DGA513 is an 18v cordless brushless angle grinder taking 125mm discs, supplied as a bare unit without battery, charger or case. It suits users needing control over speed and torque for grinding, cutting, sanding and polishing tasks.
Features include a variable speed control dial, Automatic Torque Drive Technology to adjust speed and torque under load, and Active Feedback Sensing Technology to shut the motor down if the wheel snags. Other functions are soft start, anti-restart protection, an electric brake, a battery fuel gauge, an electronic current limiter and a lock-on switch.
The body has an ergonomic soft grip with a forward grip handle for control, plus a wire mesh intake cover to keep debris out of the motor. No-load speed is 3,000-8,500rpm, bore diameter 22.23mm, max wheel thickness 7.2mm, and weight ranges from 2.4kg to 3.0kg depending on battery fitted.
