About this product
The Makita GA5095X01 is a 125mm angle grinder for grinding and cutting tasks across metal fabrication, construction, automotive repair and DIY work. It runs at a no-load speed of 11,500rpm and uses Active Feedback Sensing Technology, which cuts the motor if rotation speed suddenly drops or the wheel is forced to stop, along with an anti-restart function to reduce accidental start-up.
The grinder has a paddle switch with lock-off function, soft start and constant speed control, plus a labyrinth construction that seals the motor and bearings against dust and debris. A slim barrel grip and vibration-damping design aim to improve comfort over long periods of use, and the tool is double insulated with a current limiter for added protection.
Weight is given as around 2.7kg upwards depending on configuration, with a bore size of 22.23mm.
