The Dormer P801 is a solid carbide rotary burr in a cylinder shape without an end cut, designed for precision surface machining. It suits a wide range of materials, including steel, cast steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper and its alloys, high-temperature alloys and hardened materials. It uses a double cut geometry with closely spaced edges, giving good control, an increased metal removal rate and breaking swarf into manageable pieces for smoother finishes and reduced vibration. The toughened, hardened steel shank adds rigidity and strength, helping to prevent bending and extend tool life, while special brazing gives strong bonding between shank and carbide tip. Specifications: diameter 3mm, shank diameter 3mm, working length 14mm, overall length 38mm, with a bright, uncoated finish.
