About this product
The Dormer P807 is a solid carbide rotary burr with a ball-shaped head, uncoated (bright) finish and double cut geometry. It suits precision work such as detailed carving, metal engraving and weld preparation, and is designed for general machining across steel, cast steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper and copper alloys, high-temperature alloys and hardened materials. The double cut flutes give a clean finish and good control, with skip flute grinding at the ball nose to increase strength at the centre, reduce swarf congestion and break swarf into manageable pieces. The toughened, hardened steel shank adds rigidity, reducing vibration and bending for improved tool life, with braze joints designed for strength under load. Diameter: 3mm. Shank diameter: 3mm. Working/cut length: 2.5mm. Overall length: 38mm.
