About this product
The Dormer P805 is a solid carbide rotary burr with a ball nosed cylinder shape, suited to precision machining tasks such as contouring and creating circular arcs. It is designed for use on steel, cast steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper and copper alloys, high-temperature alloys and hardened materials. It features double cut geometry with closely spaced edges, giving good material removal, reduced vibration and a smooth finish, with an improved cutting action towards the centre and reduced risk of swarf congestion. The shank is toughened and hardened steel for rigidity and resistance to bending, with a bright, uncoated finish. Diameter cut: 3mm. Shank diameter: 3mm. Length cut: 14mm. Overall length: 38mm.
