About this product
The Makita BO5030 is a 110v random orbit sander with a 300W motor, suited to smoothing and finishing wood, metal and composite surfaces. Its random orbit action, with a 2.8mm orbit diameter and speeds up to 12,000 OPM, gives fast material removal with a swirl-free finish, while a pad control system keeps speed steady on start-up.
It uses a quick-change 125mm hook-and-loop abrasive disc system and features through-the-pad dust extraction, with sealed switches to minimise dust contamination. Oversized sealed ball bearings are fitted for durability, and a rubberised grip reduces vibration for improved comfort and control.
The sander weighs 1.3kg and is supplied with a cloth dust bag, dust bag nozzles, a hook-and-loop abrasive disc and instructions.
