About this product
The Makita BO5030 is a 240v random orbit sander suited to smooth, swirl-free finishing on wood, metal and composite surfaces. Its 300w motor drives the 125mm sanding pad at up to 12,000 orbits per minute with a 2.8mm orbit diameter, giving fast material removal alongside fine finishing.
A pad control system regulates pad speed on start-up, while dust-sealed switches and through-the-pad dust extraction keep the work area cleaner; the base can also be connected to external extraction. Quick-change hook-and-loop abrasive discs and oversized sealed ball bearings support ease of use and durability.
The rubberised grip is designed to reduce vibration and improve comfort during extended use. It weighs 1.3kg and is supplied with a cloth dust bag, dust bag nozzles and a hook-and-loop abrasive disc.
