About this product
Sikkens Cetol HLS Plus Translucent Woodstain in Teak is a low build, solvent-borne semi-gloss woodstain supplied in a 1 litre size, suited to smaller exterior projects such as windows, doors, garden furniture and touch-up work. The Teak shade gives a warm, golden-brown, translucent finish that lets the natural woodgrain show through.
It can be used as a finishing coat on exterior softwood and hardwood substrates including cladding, fascias, soffits and fencing, or as a base stain before applying Cetol Filter 7 Plus or Cetol THB Plus on windows and doors. It can also be used alone on cladding, decking and garden furniture, though not alone as a finish on hardwood.
The formulation is microporous and water-repellent, allowing timber to breathe while resisting moisture, and protects against mould, algae, UV radiation, peeling and cracking.
