About this product
Bondloc B270 Studlock is a permanent green threadlocking adhesive supplied in a 50ml bottle, suited to workshop and production environments where regular threadlocking is needed. It locks studs up to 1in, sealing threaded assemblies against leakage and corrosion, and is chemical-resistant to fuels, lubricants and most industrial liquids and gases.
Use eliminates the need for double nutting or welding on critical assemblies, while allowing reduced casting thickness and lighter builds. It also reduces assembly stress and helps prevent cracked castings caused by interference fit stresses.
Based on a dimethacrylate resin, it has a viscosity of 500 cps and gap fill of 0.25mm, with fixture speed of 10 minutes (5 minutes with activator) and full cure in 12 hours. It operates between -55°C and +180°C, with a shelf life of at least 12 months.
