About this product
This Faithfull 115 x 22mm flap disc has a coarse 40 grit aluminium oxide abrasive, suited to heavy-duty rough grinding and finishing of mild steel, carbon steel and alloys, including weld removal, rust elimination and surface profiling. The compact 115mm diameter fits standard angle grinders, giving good control during aggressive work. The disc's 72-flap construction allows fast stock removal with minimal risk of gouging or discolouration. Self-sharpening flaps give a longer working life than conventional fibre discs, said to be up to 30 times longer, reducing the number of disc changes needed. A lightweight, layered design runs cooler and quieter with less vibration and glazing, reducing operator fatigue. The slightly conical shape suits grinding at 15-25 degree angles on contoured surfaces.
