About this product
This Faithfull 125 x 22mm flap disc is made from aluminium oxide with a coarse 40 grit rating, suited to rough grinding and finishing of mild steel, carbon steel and alloys. It fits standard angle grinders and is intended for heavy-duty work such as weld removal, rust removal and initial surface profiling. The disc has 72 flaps, giving fast stock removal with minimal risk of gouging or discolouration. Its slightly conical shape suits grinding at 15-25 degree angles on contoured surfaces. The layered construction runs cooler and quieter with less vibration and reduced glazing, while the lightweight design aids control and reduces operator fatigue. Self-sharpening flaps maintain cutting performance and give a longer working life than fibre discs, said to be up to 30 times longer, reducing the frequency of disc changes.
