This Faithfull Aluminium Oxide Flap Disc measures 115 x 22mm with 80 grit, suited to final grinding and finishing of mild steel, carbon steel and alloys. Its 72-flap construction allows fast stock removal with minimal risk of gouging or discolouration, giving a good balance between material removal and surface finish. It is designed for use with angle grinders. The layered design runs cooler and quieter than typical grinding discs, with reduced vibration and glazing. Self-sharpening flaps maintain consistent performance and give a longer life than fibre discs. The lightweight build reduces operator fatigue and aids control, while the slightly conical shape suits grinding at 15-25 degree angles on contoured surfaces.
