About this product
This Faithfull 125 x 22mm flap disc, fitted with 80 grit aluminium oxide flaps, is designed for final grinding of mild steel, carbon steel and alloys using a standard angle grinder. The 72-flap construction provides fast stock removal while reducing the risk of gouging or discolouration, making it suited to finishing work across larger surfaces. Its lightweight, layered design runs cooler and quieter than typical grinding discs, with reduced vibration and glazing, improving control and consistency of finish. The slightly conical shape suits grinding at 15-25 degree angles on contoured surfaces, and the self-sharpening flaps give a longer working life, said to be up to 30 times that of fibre discs, meaning fewer disc changes during use.
