About this product
The Makita HP2050 is a 720W percussion drill suited to drilling in wood, metal and masonry. It offers two-mode operation for rotation only or hammering with rotation, plus two mechanical gears and a variable speed trigger to match speed to the material being worked.
It has a keyless 13mm chuck, a torque limiter that stops the drill when the bit meets reinforcement, and a rubberised soft grip handle designed to reduce fatigue during extended use. The drill is double insulated and reversible.
Max drilling diameters are 40mm in wood, 20mm in masonry and 13mm in steel. It weighs 2.5kg and comes supplied with a side handle, depth stop and carry case.
