About this product
The Makita DBO481 is an 18v LXT cordless 1/4 sheet finishing sander, suited to a range of smaller sanding tasks. It offers two speed settings, giving a choice between 28,000 and 22,000 strokes per minute, with orbit rates of 14,000 or 11,000 opm. The pad measures 112 x 102mm, and the clamped abrasive sheet size is 114 x 140mm.
The sander has a compact, lightweight design with a conveniently placed on/off switch for one-handed operation, plus an ergonomic, vibration-reducing grip. A large tool-free clamping lever makes paper changes quick, and through-the-pad dust collection with a dust canister and vacuum connection helps keep the work area cleaner. An electric brake adds safety and productivity.
The unit weighs 1.4kg and is supplied as a bare tool with dust bag, ring, nozzles and punch plate, but without battery, charger or case.
