About this product
Ronseal Ultimate Protection Decking Oil in Dark Oak is a water-based Linseed Oil formula that colours and waterproofs decking in one step, giving a rich, natural-looking lightly tinted finish. It penetrates deeper into the wood than standard decking oils, offering double the weather resistance and foot traffic protection, and is rainproof within 90 minutes, with recoating possible after 4 hours. This 5 litre size is suited to larger decking areas. It is primarily intended for use on pre-treated decking. Untreated or weathered wood should first be restored with a decking restorer, while previously finished decking should be cleaned or stripped as needed and cut ends protected. New decking should weather for around six months before treatment. As the shade shown is approximate, a small test area is recommended before full application.
