About this product
Ronseal Ultimate Protection Decking Oil in Natural Pine gives decking a light, honey-toned finish while protecting the wood. Its water-based Linseed Oil formula penetrates deeper into the timber than standard decking oils, offering double the weather resistance and foot traffic protection. It's rainproof in 90 minutes and can be recoated after 4 hours. This 5 litre tin is intended mainly for use on pre-treated decking. Preparation depends on the deck's condition: untreated or weathered wood should be treated with a decking restorer, previously finished decking cleaned and any loose coatings removed, and new decking left to weather for around six months before cleaning and application. The colour shown is approximate, so testing a small area first is recommended.
