About this product
Ronseal Ultimate Protection Decking Oil in Natural Cedar is a 5 litre water-based decking oil giving a lightly tinted, warm reddish finish reflecting cedar wood. Its Linseed Oil formula penetrates deeper into timber, offering double the weather resistance and foot traffic protection of standard decking oils, and colours and waterproofs the deck in one step. It is rainproof in 90 minutes and can be recoated after 4 hours. It is intended mainly for pre-treated decking. Untreated or weathered decking should first be treated with Ronseal Decking Restorer, while previously finished decking should be cleaned with Ronseal Decking Cleaner and Reviver. New wood should weather for around six months before treatment. The final colour may vary depending on the wood, so testing a small area first is advised.
