About this product

Ronseal Ultimate Protection Decking Oil in Teak is a water-based Linseed Oil formula that colours and waterproofs decking in one step, giving a lightly tinted, natural-looking finish. It penetrates deeper into the wood than standard decking oils, offering double the weather resistance and foot traffic protection. It's rainproof in 90 minutes and can be recoated after 4 hours. This 5 litre size suits larger deck areas. It's primarily intended for pre-treated decking; untreated or previously finished decking should be prepared first using appropriate Ronseal cleaning, restoring or stripping products, with cut ends protected using an end grain preserver. The colour shown is an approximate guide only, as the final shade can vary depending on the wood's texture, grain, porosity and any previous treatment, so testing a small area first is recommended.
